Inspired by four races in Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Outer green elfish leaf motif, red stylized dwarf design, lavender geometric to represent wizards, blue to note the race of men and a golden tree to symbolize the men of Gondor. 

All designs are appliqued  with metallic thread.

This particular quilt was a high school graduation present to my God Daughter Jessica. It took months to design, applique and quilt. I still have the patterns and can alter them to a twin, full, queen (like this one) or king size bed quilt. Be warned, this is a very heavy quilt even with low loft batting. And expensive. I have to use only the best 100% densly woven cotton fabric for this design. A twin would start $850.00
